EA FC 24 Crossing Tutorial

In this year's game crossing is as powerful as ever before, with the introduction of Playstyles we have seen balls flying into the box and finding the right attackers with ease. FUTWIZ pro player Dylan Campbell is going to show us the best ways to make the most out of crossing situations.

Let’s begin with the classic “Back post cross”

As you can see here Dylan has found space in the box but there is no real passing options available and he has spotton Son making a run towards the back post, from this position you want to use around 2-3 bars of power and point the cross towards the back post and it will arrive to your player in space to either take a touch or as you can see here, a free header on goal.

Next we are going to look at the low cross which is very effective on counter attacks. To perform this cross you want to load up a regular cross with again 2 to 3 bars of power and just before your player makes contact with the ball tap your crossing button again, default is Square (PlayStation) and X (Xbox).

Here you can see Dylan on the counter attack and he feels if he was to use a regular cross it would give his opponent time to get back and challenge the header, but with the low cross your attacker will be able to run onto the ball and have that important chance on goal.

Finally we want to take a look at the “Trivala Cross” which can be performed by holding down L2 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox and powering up a cross. Your player crossing the ball will need to have the Trivela Playstyle to make this possible. Below is a link to every player who has this Playstyle. There is also the Trivela+ Playstyle which will improve this technique.

In the example Dylas has shown us you can see the curl it generates which gives you the ability to perform this from a bunch of different wide angles.

Here you can see Dylan making the most of the Trivela cross with the ball landing around the edge of the 6 yard box for his attacker to run onto for an easy finish.
