FC 24 has been officially revealed, and EA have gone huge on making sure Authenticity and Innovation were mentioned as many times as humanly possible in one presentation. We'll break down what we know so far in this article.
Authenticity
Making us totally sure that losing the FIFA name isn't going to be a problem, EA have officially licensed the following- 100+ Stadiums
- 30+ Leagues
- 700+ Clubs
- 19,000+ Players
This means that they will use their real names, pictures and likeness in game.
Further to that, they have agreed a multi year exclusive deal with the Premier League, for all clubs, players and stadiums. This is also the same for the UEFA Champions League - a multi year exclusive deal which was described as "for years to come".
Two new women's leagues have also been added, the Spanish Liga F, and the German Frauen-Bundesliga.
Game Engine
FC 24 will be powered by 3 systems to create the most authentic experience yet, and bring you closer to the worlds game.HyperMotionV - Capturing the game as it's played, using data from more than 180 real men's and women's football matches. This allows new animations to be captured and added to the game within days.
Frostbite Engine - Completely overhauled for this season, and built on EA Sports Sapien character technology. This transforms the way players look and move, with unmatched realism. Body forms are 10x more anatomically precise and correct to the millimeter and with GPU cloth, kits respond to players as they move.
PlayStyles - Optimised by Opta, real world data powers the new Play Styles system to bring the on-pitch abilities to the game. This gives the players unique capabilities and makes their way of playing feel more authentic. PlayStyles+ enhance these capabilities to world-class standards.
Cross Play
In FC 24, cross-play has been expanded into all multiplayer online modes. This means you can team up with your friends on other platforms, as well as play against other platforms.This means cross-play is now in

- All FUT modes
- Online Friendlies
- Online Seasons
Cross Play is based on the players platform generation, meaning;
- PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC can play cross-platform
- PlayStation 4, Xbox One can play cross-platform
- Switch is excluded from cross-platform
