Last week was one of the worst in terms of red picks but on the prediction side we still got a decent result of 15 players correctly predicted. Although it would have been nice for rewards I was a bit too ambitious with Mbappe and couple of the other choices. Still a solid week prediction wise, I'll try and be a little more realistic to keep expectations grounded this week - still want to generate some excitement going into rewards day though!
Main highlights: Dybala, Mane and of course Manchester United's win vs City. A lot of the big players had fairly mediocre performances so it was really a case of trying to find the best of the rest. Dybala was amazing vs Inter and snapped up the MOTM award and high rating, even though Ramsey got 1 goal + 1 assist.
Mane got 1+1 too and helped Liverpool to overcome Bournemouth, a tough game for Liverpool but it looks like they've recovered from their little blip and are comfortable on their way to the trophy. Manchester United helped them with a win over City, AWB was MOTM and in my eyes he deserves a SIF (and OTW upgrade!) for that game, he was sensational in defense.
Few other highlights: In Bundesliga BVB won vs Gladbach, Thorgan Hazard was named MOTM and he scored the 1st goal, while Thiago helped Bayern overcome Augsburg on their 120th birthday.
