OTWs Investments

Since OTW has come in there has been a lot of buy and sell time to keep on flipping OTW cards, there’s a lot of factors that go into flipping OTWs and wanted to show you when is the best time to buy for me.

Buy Times

Sunday/Monday - My best time to buy OTWs is these 2 days if they have not performed well at the weekend, this is because you have to types of sell offs, you have the Weekend League players selling over these days and you have the investments selling who kept them throughout the weekend, people normally sell the OTWs if they are having a bad game meaning there is an increase in the amount of cards listed forcing the price down.

For example this week over the weekend I will look at the fixtures for the week after and since it is internationals I liked Lukaku and Lozano, Lukaku and Lozano both dropped 10% on Sunday since they didn’t contribute in the game on Sunday, however over the past days or so they had risen for preparation for the next game which was San Marino/ Bermuda, because they have quite easy opponents this week more people invested in them, both surpassed Sundays value and was up 20% from what I got them for.

Looking into the week after the international break you could start looking at cards which you think could have a real impact, what I look for is people who have a big goal contribution for their team. Haller has over 33% of the goals so far this season and they are playing Everton next game who are in bad form. Haller has been rested over the international break and could have a good game against a struggling side. Another example I like is Ben Yedder, even though Monaco are not having the best start of the season they are scoring a lot of goals and Ben Yedder is getting a high contribution rate as well as being one of the most popular OTWs on Fifa it means they will be hype around this card.

A late buy time that I haven't talked about before is after they have a good performance they drop and it is a great time to buy, for example Sarabia has had a great weekend and was a good candidate for TOTW, but later on after rising during the game later that night he was lower, this is because some people were trying to sell early and there was a higher amount of cards on the market and made him drop in price. However Monday - Wednesday Sarabia went up in price this is because people start making TOTW prediction and more people see about Sarabia so the supply get bought up and he went up by 20% again. However he didn’t get TOTW that’s why you don’t buy after Monday.

Selling Times

There are three main points when to sell OTWs, Before the game, after a goal contribution or Tuesday if he does well

Selling a OTW just before a game is the low risk investment, since the player should rise if he is playing in the game, because of this you can make a lower amount of coins but have no risk attached to it.

Keeping a OTW for during a game you are gambling on the player making a contribution into the game, if they don’t do anything it means they should be lower than what they were before the game. On the other hand if you keep the OTW and they score a goal it will have a big spike in price and is a very good time to sell, when they score this is always the best time to score because people are trying to panic buy the player since he might be getting a IF. You could wait to see if he contributes to another goal and he will rise more however it is a bigger risk doing that.

The Third time to sell on OTWs is before Wednesday, people may think that OTWs go up after announcement however most of the time they go down, this is because most people are trying to sell them at that point. Tuesday is probably the best day to sell the OTWs after the hype of the game, if you missed the selling point for the cards who did well and is a potential TOTW. This week is a perfect example of why you sell before Wednesday 3pm because Sarabia did not get in the TOTW and he dropped 50% on Wednesday, that is why you always take the coins before the TOTW comes out.

Summary

Overall if you are using multiple times of buying and selling when I have recommended you should be able to make a profit, the price will go up more for games that have more hype around it, for me I think the Haller should do well because of how bad Everton has done this year and people will see it as a perfect opportunity for Haller to get a TOTW. Using live football apps to keep up on scores definitely helps when you learning about who will be good to invest in.
