How do you use this PlayStyle?
This PlayStyle is activated when attempting any of these three passes, they are Through Passes, Swerve Passes, and Precision Passes, this essentially means that when performing any of these passes they are executed with more accuracy, curve and speed depending on which type of pass you choose.
What is the most effective way to use this PlayStyle?
This PlayStyle is most effective when trying to perform defensive splitting through balls from the midfield. You want to be looking for opportunities and openings to perform the through pass, for example if your opponent moves their defenders out of position which gives you areas to send the ball through too.
This PlayStyle will allow you to pass through gaps that you would not usually be able to with players without this PlayStyle.
What are the Pros and Cons of this PlayStyle?
Pros
- The main pro is that through balls will be able to be sent through smaller spaces and have a much higher chance of your attacker getting on the end of the pass
- Utilising swerved passes with this PlayStyle will allow you to swerve the ball into the path of your attackers with much more curve which reduces the chances the pass will be intercepted
- If you utilise precision passing this PlayStyle causes these passes to travel faster
Cons
- There isn’t really a con per se for the PlayStyle, the only notable thing is that through passes are not as effective as some other attacking passes, therefore it is usually not the best choice of pass, meaning this PlayStyle is not utilised as much
