Learn every Rainbow Flick in FC 24

The Rainbow Flick is one of the OG skills in the game, a lot of us had fun with it in earlier FIFA’s, but now we’re in EA FC era and it’s now a very useful skill. FUTWIZ Pro Ethan will show how to utilise it well in game and will teach you how to do it.

There are different versions of this skill move, there’s a simple one, a normal Rainbow Flick, that a lot of players can do well. To perform it – you need to flick your right stick backwards, then forwards twice.

Then you have an advanced Rainbow Flick. It takes some time to get used to, as it requires better timing. To perform it – you need to flick your right stick backwards, then right stick forwards and pause before flicking right stick forwards once again.

Then, this year you have Trickster Skill moves, where you need certain PlayStyles on your players. Check out the list of players with the Trickster Playstyle on our site

To perform the skill move you need to hold your L1 button and flick your right stick backwards and flick right stick forward once.

To get used to this skill and to perform it consistently – we recommend you going to the arena, by setting opponents to 0 and trying it out.

Now, let’s move to in game examples! Ethan will guide you through situations, where this skill is especially useful.

Here’s an example of a Trickster Rainbow Flick in game. It’s different to your normal rainbow flick, so you probably won’t use it too much, but still it’s welcomed in your arsenal of skills.

By using this skill, you can catch your opponent off guard, if he rushes his defenders towards you and you can send him to Narnia. Because not many opponents use this skill move and people are confused with this skill move. So if you do use this on the pitch – no one will be expecting it, like in this example, and hopefully you’ll be able to score a few good goals.

The next example will be showing a normal rainbow flick, by using Neymar once again. Ethan’s cutting inside, the opponent is not sure what you’ll do, you start to perform a skill move.

After you complete the skill move, you have already passed an opponent and you have a space to have a free shot on goal, by catching your opponent off guard completely. As we’ve already said, no one expects a Rainbow Flick anymore, so you’ll catch loads of opponents off guard completely. So, as no one expects it anymore, you’ll score some really nice looking goals.

The last example of rainbow flick will be advanced rainbow flick. It’s different and harder to pull off, but pay off with it is great and it's a very satisfying skill move to pull out.

Again, it sends your opponent to catch some air, you have a better chance of scoring with all the space you’re getting after performing this skill move. No one uses this skill move usually, so nobody expects it (especially advanced ones)
