Salary Range: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience

FUTWIZ is seeking a passionate and creative Content & Community Manager to lead the development, management, and delivery of engaging content across our gaming platforms, with a focus on EA Sports FC communities. The successful candidate will enhance our online presence and drive user engagement. Working within a dynamic team, you will oversee content strategies, manage a team of contributors, and ensure our sites remain a go-to resource for the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with FUTWIZ’s brand and goals, including articles, tutorials, social media posts, short & long form content
• Partnership Content: Liaising with brand partners to build collaborative content plans and creative campaigns with engaging call to actions.
Team Management: Coordinate and oversee a team of content creators (writers, designers and videographers), as well as our team of pro players ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
• Website Management: Maintain and update existing features and content on FUTWIZ.com using content management systems to publish and optimize content.
• Performance Optimization: Collaborate with the team to explore ways to improve site performance, user experience, and search engine visibility.
• Community Engagement: Monitor trends, player feedback and competitor activity to create relevant, timely content that resonates with our audience.
• Editorial Oversight: Manage a content calendar, proofread submissions, and ensure all content meets FUTWIZ’s quality standards and brand voice.
• Innovation: Work with the team to brainstorm and develop new features, tools, or content that enhance the FUTWIZ ecosystem.

Skills & Qualifications

• Essential:
• Proven experience (2+ years) in content creation, management, or digital media, ideally within gaming or sports-related industries.
• Strong understanding of EA Sports FC gaming communities and their interests (e.g., Ultimate Team, Career Mode, player stats, trading).
• Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar) and basic web publishing skills.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a small team.
• Passion for gaming and a desire to grow within a dynamic, player-focused company.
• Desirable:
• Experience managing a team of content creators or contributors.
• Familiarity with multimedia content production (e.g., video editing, graphic design).
• Technical aptitude for learning new tools or platforms quickly.
• Previous work in a remote or hybrid team environment.
