Hello and welcome to Bundesliga player of the month predictions for February. League is very close, even tho top 2 teams far better than the rest. Bayern and Bayer are above everyone and it’s showing well. There are a lot of clubs battling for the rest 2 UCL spots and it might go down to the last day of the campaign. Even tho, finding POTM rather hard, as all 6 players that I’ve nominated – been nearly at the same level.
From Bayern I’ve gone with 2 players that played the best this month: Harry Kane and Michael Olise. Both impressed this month, Kane scored 4 goals: 2 vs Holstein Kiel and 2 Bremen, while Olise managed to get 2 goals and 1 assist with few MOTMs to his name: 1 assist vs Kiel and 1 goal in crucial games vs Stuttgart and Frankfurt. Personally, Olise would be a bit better choice and overall his cards are very fun in FUT. Olise has few specials, but his POTM would be 87-88 rated card for like 100k, while Kane probably 93 rated POTM for 200k. I’d go with Olise here.
Next up: Bayer Leverkusen. Patrick Schick went on a good run of form and got 3 goals this month: 1 goal in games vs Hoffenheim, Kiel and Frankfurt. Bayer still losing 8 points to Bayern, but they are above the rest Buli by a lot. Patrick had few IFs this year, so his potential POTM would be 88 rated too with some nice stats for cheaps, like 60k coins at max IMO.
Freiburg went on amazing run of form and won 4 games in a row. Vincenzo Grifo is their hero and should be nominated for POTM with 3 goals to his name: 1 goal in 1-0 win against Heidenheim and 2 goals vs Werder Bremen. Freiburg somehow stays strong despite their squad not being the best. Very wonderful story, but says a lot about quality of some top teams this season. Grifo would be 87 rated POTM with some average stats and would worth around 30k at max IMO.
Another crazy story this season: Mainz. They are somehow 4th, very close to 3rd spot. Their team is solid, but i’ve decided to nominate once again Jonathan Burkardt who came back from injury and scored: 1g1a against Heidenheim and scored a winning goal in very important game against Leipzig. Jonathan had already 2IFs and Fantasy card, so his potential POTM would be around 88 rating and have some nice stats, but would be rather cheap.
And last player that I’ll include is Serhou Guirassy. He managed to score 6 goals in a month, 4 of them came in 1 game against Union Berlin, 1 goal was vs Heidenheim and 1 goal was vs St. Pauli. Overall, very impressive season from Serhou, despite BVB struggling a lot and sitting on 10th spot (das crazy). Guirassy had 2 IFs already, 1 POTM would be 89 rated card with some good stats, but still not as interesting as some other cards in game. Still, he’d worth around 60k at MAX imo.
I think one of Bayern players will win it. Probably Olise, in my opinion, but a lot of candidates that are very very close to each other. We’ll see how it goes!
