EAFC 25: Bundesliga POTM Predictions - September

Hello and welcome to Bundesliga A POTM Predictions for September. As per usual – very high scoring month in Bundesliga with some BIG games. There were Bayern vs Bayer, Stuttgart vs Borussia Dortmund and first defeat of Leverkusen in over a year! There are several choices for POTM and maybe we’ll get someone not that crazy expensive as in other leagues. Let’s see.

Bayern went nearly perfect, they collected most points, drew only vs Bayer and were really close to winning that game. Main candidate would be Harry Kane, who managed to score 5 goals and got also 3 assists to his name. He got a goal in 2-0 win over Freiburg, got 3 goals and assist in 6-1 win over Kiel and got 1 goal and 2 assists in 5-0 win over Bremen. Overall, his NIF card is cheap, so his potential POTM shouldn’t worth more than 150k. Hoping for a nice pace boost and then he’d be very very usable.

Unusual choice, but Omar Marmoush from Frankfurt managed to score 5 goals too and also got 2 assists. He got a goal in 2-0 win over Gladbach, got 2 goals in 2-1 win over Wolfsburg and got 2 goals and 2 assists in 4-2 win over Kiel. Very impressive month by Frankfurt and Marmoush. He already had nice IF, there’s a chance for a very good POTM who should be around 60k at max. Good card, nice link with Koch at CB, but otherwise not so exciting.

Lowkey need to choose one from Bayer but it’s hard. 3 games, 2 wins and 1 draw. Probably Wirtz or Boniface? Boniface got 3 goals and 1 assist in those 3 games, Wirtz got 2 goals and MOTM awards. Both can get nominated. Both already had IFs. I think both would be great cards, but I doubt that they’ll win. Wirtz would be 90 rated card already and Boniface would be 86 POTM. Boniface obviously cheaper.

Deniz Undav would be my another choice for POTM. Man went and scored 4 goals in 3 games. Scored 1 goal in 3-1 win over Gladbach, scored 2 goals in 5-1 win over BVB and got 1 goal in dying minutes of 2-2 draw vs Wolsfburg. Would class, cheap card that probably would fit meta.

Last choice would be Peter Gulasci from Leipzig. Surprise, surprise. But Leipzig got 5 points in 3 games, 1 win and 2 draws, they managed to keep CS in 3 games and Gulasci made a lot of saves. He missed out on IF and I can see him getting nominated for POTM still. despite without IF. We haven’t had POTM GK in Bundesliga I think, but it’d be a fair choice.

Overall, I think it’s between Marmoush and Kane. Obviously way ahead of everyone else and I think Marmoush will get it, just due to a month Frankfurt had. They even sit 2nd at table.
