EAFC 25: Bundesliga Team of The Season Predictions

We’re starting one of the most exciting periods in FUT, sun comes out and stays longer every day, every football fan expecting nice run-in till the end of the season for their team and Ultimate Team brings us TOTS Cards.

This article will be about Bundesliga. Very weird season, considering how tight race for European spots is. Bayern should win title, even tho Leverkusen not so far behind them. Difference between them that Bayern just drew less games. They were overall better on the course of all the season.

After those 2 clubs, that are above everyone else, there’s a huge race for the last european spots. Mainz, Freiburg, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Monchengladbach, even Dortmund and Stuttgart are there. Overall, Frankfurt should get an UCL spot, even tho it got tougher after Marmoush got sold to City. Others – all have weaknesses, but Mainz looked very impressive this season and they are overachieving massively.

While middle of the table looks packed, relegation candidates were settled very fast and Bochum with Kiel should go down. Last spot will be debated between Hoffenheim, ST. Pauli and Heidenheim. Heidenheim’s downfall was expected, but not that hard. They were competing nicely in UCL, but squad wasn’t ready for 2 competitions, so yeah, there are consequences.

So, let’s start predictions with Goalkeeper. It was hard to find one, apart from Zentner. Robin entered his prime ages for Goalkeeper with style and kept Mainz in many games. There are literally 0 candidates in this season, apart from him, but I can see Kobel being nominated (he shouldn’t win). Mainz conceded 2nd least goals in Bundesliga, only after Bayern. Neuer was injured for a lot of games and his performances weren’t as good overall. We’ll see, but it should be Zentner.

Right back spot is kinda easy with Frimpong being there. Another good season, plus he’s very hyped player and I consider the fact that we’ll get a voting for Bundesliga TOTS. He should get in, easily.

CBs are harder. As you all know – Bundesliga loves goals. That’s why finding CBs were hard. I went with obvious picks from top clubs: Upamecano was the best CB in Bayern, Tah was the best one for Leverkusen and Hincapie should be there too. Last one would be Robin Koch from Frankfurt, who had a very good season. Overall, Tah and Upa were just above everyone else.

Left Back should be debate between 2 players. Both of them should get in, to be honest: Grimaldo, for obvious reasons (even tho his season isn’t as good as his previous one). 2nd one is David Raum. He found his form in Leipzig. Very solid defensive season from him.

Now we moving to midfielders and life is getting easier here. Kimmich gets in, no matter what. One of the best seasons from him, absolute machine. He deserves all the flowers. Xhaka there too, another good season for him, especially with 7 assists to his name. Finally, we have Nadiem Amiri from Mainz. Surprise of the season. He got 6 goals and 4 assists to his name and should get TOTS, because if not for him – Mainz would be way lower.

Next we have attacking midfielders: Musiala, Wirtz – usual suspects. Olise came in clutch for Bayern and his first season in Bundesliga was amazing. Everyone saw how good he is and Bayern got very lucky with his transfer. 8 goals and 10 assists for him. Amazing numbers. Speaking about wingers – Buli wasn’t the best this time with them. There’s a chance for Doan from Freiburg. His numbers aren’t that bad or that good: 8 goals and 6 assists, plus solid season from Freiburg overall should get him the spot. Or there’s a chance for usual suspect: Vincenzo Grifo with 8 goals and 8 assists. Probably better option, overall, as he’s more recognizable. And also there’s Mohammed Amoura from Wolfsburg who had great performances with 10 goals from somewhere between LW and ST. Hard choice.

The last few spots belong to strikers. It’s very tough, as many of them scored 13+ more goals. We start with Kane, obviously, 23 goals to him. Next I have Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht with 13 goals and 4 assists, then I have Mainz’s Hero: Jonathan Burkardt with 15 goals and 2 assists, Tim Kleindenst from Monchengladbach should also be there with 15 goals and 5 assists. That’s what I’m talking about – there are too many options. Plus, I can’t include Marmoush, who had one insane half of a season. Let’s say last spot I’d give to Serhou Guirassy, who carried BVB from the deep, at least he should get moments with 15 goals and 1 assist. It would be very weird to see TOTS without BVB player.

Overall, apart from obvious choices, I hope we’ll get Mainz’s players in TOTS, as they very deserving this season for their heroics. Bundesliga TOTS always been juiced, so let’s see how good cards we’ll get for Olise, Wirtz, Musiala and other top players! As always, you’re welcome to discussions!
