We’re starting one of the most exciting periods in FUT, sun comes out and stays longer every day, every football fan expecting nice run-in till the end of the season for their team and Ultimate Team brings us TOTS Cards.
This time we’re speaking about Serie A. Very interesting league, a lot of stories, battle for top 4, battle for title, battles everywhere. Loads of good teams performing, but Inter and Napoli should dominate predictions, because they are just better than everyone else. Atalanta was in title race for a long time, but then ran out of gas. I think if they’ll finish 3rd – it’ll still be amazing achievement for them. Overall, 4th spot is up for taking, but Juve should be taking it, despite having an amazing amount of draws. Bologna, surprisingly, 5th atm, but 2 Rome clubs right behind it. I think Serie A will have 5 clubs in UCL again, so let’s see how table ends there.
Losers of the season were Roma, but Ranieri made a miracle and Europe is possible for them. So, clear losers – Milan. Manager changes, squad playing below it’s level and bad results result in 8th spot for now. And even that is up in the air. Best promoted side easily Como. A lot of money invested, a lot of celebrities in stands and good results with very promising coach in a face of Cesc Fabregas and very fun squad.
Let’s get to predictions and starting with Goalkeeper. It should be between 2 GKs: Di Gregorio from Juventus or Mile Svilar from Roma. Both GKs having very good seasons. I don’t know if you remember Svilar, but I remember when he made a debut in Benfica vs Manchester United and made a mistake and Lukaku was giving him motivational speech. Yeah, same guy. A lot of time has passed, but I’m happy he’s playing at very good level. I think Di Gregorio’s record is better, but we’ll see. Maignan won’t be in TOTS, unless there a huge swing in fan voting.
Defenders – harder. There aren’t many good performing defenders, apart from Inter ones. I think Inter should have 3 defenders in TOTS: Dumfries, Bastoni and Dimarco. All of them were incredible. Dumfries improved a lot this season and year overall, Bastoni is probably the best CB in the world (or alongside Gabriel\Saliba\VVD), but he’s a leader of Inter and overall incredible player. Dimarco continues to be amazing left wing-back, scoring and assisting. 4 goals and 7 assists for Dimarco this season, Dumfries had 6 goals and 2 assists so far.
Speaking about left-backs, there’s always a chance for Theo, but he’s not that great this season. I still think he might get in due to popularity, but he’s not that guy this season. From other clubs we should get Buongiorno from Napoli, who was incredible for them and transfer from Torino was worth it. Hien from Atalanta. Swedish CB had a very very strong season for Atalanta and played most of the games as CCB in 3-back formation and last one should be Beukema from Bologna. Incredible season for not so known or popular CB, but trust me, he should get a summer transfer to a bigger club.
Next up I have midfielders, duh, mr. obvious.
Starting again from Inter we have 2 options that should be undeniably in TOTS: Barella and Calhanoglu. Both were crucial and both are incredible players. 6+3 G|A for Barella and 5+4 G|A for Calhanoglu. Both playing more defensive roles, but still should be in. Next up – 2nd best midfield in the league: Napoli. Both Lobotka and Zambo Anguissa should be in. Lobotka been incredible and praised by many, but Zambo Anguissa season’s been his best in his career. Both should be in.
Surprise pick – Alexis Saelsmakers from Roma. Yeah, guy from Milan improved a lot. Had a good year in Bologna last season and now having a good season for Roma too. Very interesting turnaround from him, because he wasn’t rated in Milan at all.
Last, but not least – Tiijani Reijndeers from Milan. The best player for them, carried by him in many games, should be only Milan player in TOTS with 10 goals and 3 assists to his name. His card should be incredible too.
In attack we have a lot of options. First one I have a leader of Atalanta in attack: Mateo Retegui. His transfer value was high, but it paid out. 23 goals and 5 assists this season, top goalscorer, easily should be in TOTS with some sick stats.
Next up I have Moise Kean from Fiorentina. He left his Juve and found form of his life in Florence. 17 goals and 3 assists, plus Fiorentina have a legit shot at Europe spot. He should be in too.
Romelu Lukaku had a strong year with Napoli. He might not be scoring as much as usual, but still should be in with 11 goals and 8 assists.
Then I have a Marcus Thuram, who went next level this season and improved even already good level of last season. Can’t believe Inter got him for free. 14 goals and 4 assists. I think he was much better than Lautaro and Martinez doesn’t deserve to be in TOTS this season.
Last few spots are hard. There are 3 players with some-what similar stats: Pulisic for Milan, Orsolini for Bologna and Zaccagni for Lazio. Overall, Zaccagni should be in. He’s overall highest rated player from Serie A. Lazio solid season with new manager and Zaccagni one of the main reasons for that with 8 goals and 6 assists. But, Orsolini and Pulisic deserve some sort of cards too. Pulisic had 9 goals and 6 assists, while Orsolini had 11 goals and 3 assists. It’s very hard choice, maybe even remove Lukaku for one these players, but yeah, I think all 3 will get some sort of SBCs\Moments\TOTS cards.
Good season of Serie A coming to an end. I think Inter will still win a title. Hopefully they’ll go deep in UCL too, Simone Inzaghi deserves respect for what he’s doing, but his players are amazing too.

As always, I welcome you for debates, it should be good Serie A TOTS with some juice cards, so let’s see who EA will choose.
