Hello and welcome to Team of the Week Predictions for Week 20. Last week wasn’t that great in terms of predictions, so let’s try it again and improve.
There are not many highlights this weekend, but there are few decent performances. In PL especially: Gakpo got 2 goals and 1 assist, Isak scored 2 goals, Calfiori scored winning goal, Gvardiol was fantastic for City. Chelsea goalkeeper should be in TOTW, not the one that plays for Chelsea itself, but still! Leicester won vs struggling Spurs and De Cordova-Reid should be in TOTW.
In other leagues: Retegui played well for Atalanta in 2-1 comeback vs Como, Che Adams scored 2 goals for Torino, Fermin got 2 goals and 2 assists for Barca vs poor Valencia, Pavlovic got a winning assist in 3-2 mad win over Parma, Mahrez got 1 goal and 1 assist for Al Ahli.
Overall, not the most impressive TOTW, maybe I’m missing someone from Napoli and Inter wins, but still.
There are some great silvers that performed well too. I think main focus is still on TOTY and evos, so yeah, TOTW should be discard.
