After previous success in prior EA Sports games, Fantasy FC is returning to Football Ultimate Team in FC 25. This promo sees the release of Fantasy FC items that get upgraded based on how teams before in real life! Over the next few weeks, there will be a whole host of new players in packs, SBCs, evolutions and objectives, so keep your eyes peeled for every bit of content!

What is Fantasy FC
Fantasy FC is a promo in Ultimate Team where selected cards are given the chance to be upgraded based on how they and their partnered club performs in real life. If the player or the club that the Fantasy FC item is associated with meets the required upgrade, then the FC 25 Football Ultimate team items will be upgraded. Essentially, the better the team/player does in real life, the better the card becomes in the game.
Fantasy FC items will be a mix of current players and FC 25 Heroes items who will be given a club to base their upgrades on. These cards can be packed, but there will also be cards available via SBCs and objectives.
How do the upgrade paths work
Fantasy FC items:
One goal/assist in four games (Attackers and Midfielders except CDMs) OR one clean sheet in next four games (Defenders, Goalkeepers and CDMs)– +1 PlayStyle+ (Max 2) and +1 PlayStyle
Club wins two of four league games- +1 OVR and +1 Role++
Player avoids yellow or red card in the four league matches- +1 OVR and 5* skill moves/weak foot. (If the item is already 5* 5*, then only the +1 OVR upgrade is applied
Club scores 10 goals in four league games- +1 99 face card stat

Fantasy FC Hero items:
Club wins two of four league games- +1 OVR and +1 Role++
Club scores 10 goals in four league games- +1 99 face card stat
For both, there are also Seasonal upgrades, which are the same for Fantasy FC and Fantasy Heroes items:

If a Fantasy FC or Fantasy FC Hero’s club wins a trophy:
Domestic cup- +1 PlayStyle+ and 99 face card stat
Domestic league- +1 PlayStyle+ and +1 OVR
These are the Domestic Cups that these upgrades apply to:
England- FA CUP
Germany- DFB Pokal
France- Coupe de France
Italy- Coppa Italia
Spain- Copa del Rey (Men), Copa de la Reina (Women)
The games that will count towards non-seasonal upgrades will be Domestic League games. The tracking for upgrades begins from when the player is released (Friday 21st February). For the clean sheet bonus, similar to FPL if the player is substituted after playing a minimum of 60 minutes, and then their team concedes, they will still receive the clean sheet upgrade.
