After some midweek European action, we return for gameweek 23 of the Premier League. We’re going to give you our lineup predictions for the upcoming weekend’s games and well as provide our best FPL Tips! This week’s key fixture is between Manchester City and Chelsea on Saturday evening. Currently, Liverpool find themselves at the top of the table and are six points above Arsenal in 2nd with a game in hand. On the other end of the table, the promoted sides Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich are struggling in the relegation zone. There’s still plenty to play for though, so let’s see how each team might lineup this weekend!
Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest (K.O. 3 pm Saturday)
Bournemouth’s predicted lineup:

Nottingham Forest’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Justin Kluivert (£5.6m) scored a hat-trick against Newcastle in his last game, which takes his total to four goals in two games. He’ll be hoping to continue his form here. Due to Chris Wood’s value of £7.1m and his incredible goal-scoring record this season, he’s a must for everyone’s team. He’s now scored in his last four consecutive games.
Brighton vs Everton (K.O. 3 pm Saturday)
Brighton’s predicted lineup:

Everton’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma (£6.3m) has scored 22 points across his last two games. Brighton are also undefeated in their last six games. Iliman Ndiaye (£5.4m) showed some promise in front of goal in his last game against Tottenham. He was awarded FPL seven points in this fixture.
Liverpool vs Ipswich (K.O. 3 pm Saturday)
Liverpool’s predicted lineup:

Ipswich’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Liverpool have been strong defensively this season, and one of their best defenders is Ibrahima Konate (£5.1m). He is one of the cheaper defenders from Liverpool and scored six points against Brentford. As for Ipswich, we’d recommend avoiding Ipswich players for this week.
Southampton vs Newcastle (K.O. 3 pm Saturday)
Southampton’s Predicted Lineup:

Newcastle’s Predicted Lineup:

FPL Tips:
We’d recommend not having any Southampton players in your FPL team. For Newcastle, their most in-form player at the moment is Alexander Isak. He may be expensive at £9.5m, but he does guarantee you goals
Wolves vs Arsenal (K.O. 3 pm Saturday)
Wolves’ predicted lineup:

Arsenal’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Wolves’ upcoming fixtures are really tough, so we’d recommend avoiding their players for the next few weeks. For Arsenal though, Leandro Trossard (£6.8m) has scored highly lately with 19 FPL in his last two games. We expect him to start in this game too.
Manchester City vs Chelsea (K.O. 5:30 pm Saturday)
Manchester City’s predicted lineup:

Chelsea’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Phil Foden (£9.3m) is finally back on form for Manchester City as he’s scored 48 points in FPL over the last four weeks. Trevoh Chalobah (£4.4m) was recalled back to Chelsea last week and he impressed against Wolves. For his price, he’ll be a low-risk option who could get a lot of minutes for Chelsea.
Crystal Palace vs Brentford (K.O. 2 pm Sunday)
Crystal Palace’s predicted lineup:

Brentford’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.3m) has been on a scoring streak lately as he’s scored four in his last three games. He is a cheap option as a forward asset. Brentford’s best asset in FPL is still Bryan Mbeumo (£7.8m). The winger could be amongst the goals at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
Tottenham vs Leicester (K.O. 2 pm Sunday)
Tottenham’s predicted lineup:

Leicester’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
If there is a game where Spurs can finally get back on track, it could be this one. A bright spark to their season though has been Dejan Kulusevski (£6.4m) who scored against Everton in his last match. Leicester have lost seven games in a row now, so until they get onto winning ways again, we’d suggest not having their players in your team.
Aston Villa vs West Ham (K.O. 4:30 pm Sunday)
Aston Villa’s predicted lineup:

West Ham’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Ollie Watkins is owned by 16.6% of FPL players, and it’s understandable why. The Englishman scored against Arsenal and Everton and is in great form. For West Ham, their starting goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is priced at £4.1m which is incredible value for a starting goalkeeper.
Fulham vs Manchester United (K.O. 7 pm Sunday)
Fulham’s predicted lineup:

Manchester United’s predicted lineup:

FPL Tips:
Antonee Robinson (£5.1m) has been one of the best left-backs in the Premier League this season. He is the 8th highest point-scoring defender. Even though Manchester United’s run hasn’t be great as of late, Bruno Fernandes (£8.4m) can always grab a goal, as seen in their last match against Brighton.
