The Best Evolutions in FC25 (Week 4&5)

After a week of very limited evolutions, it appears that EA has resolved the issues they were experiencing with chained evolutions. As a result, they have now released four new evolutions: Bag of Tricks, Goal Frenzy, Playmaker Glow Up, and Rapid Wing Mastery.

Bag of Tricks: This is the only paid evolution of the four available and provides a significant +15 boost in dribbling, along with some exciting new playstyles. It also grants a +1 increase to skill moves and weak foot, along with adding the RM | Inside Forward ++ role.

Goal Frenzy: This evolution focuses on enhancing a player’s shooting and introduces the Power Shot PlayStyle, along with a +1 boost to weak foot.

Playmaker Glow Up: This evolution is designed for CMs but is limited to silver (or bronze) cards due to its max rating requirement of 74. It provides substantial boosts across the board, along with new PlayStyles and an CM | Playmaker ++ role.

Rapid Wing Mastery: This evolution is exclusive to players in the LW position, offering a substantial +12 boost in Pace, along with a new PlayStyle and a Role+ addition.

Here are the top players to evolve this week:

Before we get into the top 5 I am going to give an honourable mention to Jobe Bellingham, the reason being he is a free card with a free evo so anyone can get him and he looks like a really solid card.

5. Joao Felix

Felix takes the fifth spot. If you’ve already completed his evolution chain, you’ll know that his 83-rated card was already great. Now, you can add Rapid Wing Mastery for an extra boost in pace.

4. Jacob Ramsey & Arder Guler

Ramsey and Güler share the fourth spot, as I couldn’t decide which I preferred, they both look fantastic. Both players have 4*/4*, play in strong leagues, and possess excellent offensive attributes, making them equally deserving of the fourth spot.

3. Lamine Yamal

Yamal takes the third spot, ranking higher than Ramsey and Güler because his 85-rated card outperforms his POTM card, which costs 230k. If you don’t have the Intro to Stat Limits evolution, you can place him directly into Bag of Tricks and still have a very strong card.

2. Milan van Ewijk

Van Ewijk takes the second spot. Although this card doesn’t use any of the new evolutions, it was released this week via an objective, and has impressive attributes. I really like this card for its outstanding pace, 4/4 rating, and solid defensive capabilities, a fantastic choice for a completely free card.

1. Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko

Sissoko takes the number one spot, and rightfully so, as this card is very meta and elite tier. Similar to Van Ewijk, this card doesn’t use any of the new evolutions but was released this week via an SBC that costs only 25k. It offers excellent pace and defensive attributes, along with a 4*/4* and, importantly, the Long Ball PlayStyle+. A worthy choice for the top spot.
